Liquid Crystal Technology

Liquid Crystals are a unique phase between solids and liquids. They possess orientational and/or positional order, which gives rise to a physical anisotropy in terms of their electrical, magnetic and mechanical properties. This anisotropy is critical to its effective exploitation in electro-optic and electronics devices. Our current topics of interest include:
